StreamBop is a utility for Streaners that allow people to Stream whilst running StreamBop to get free no-copyright music, with a visual display showing when new songs are getting played for viewers. StreamBop is an advanced software with tons of functionaility that is 100% free to use. StreamBop is built on the SnailFM radio station. (Powered by SnailDOS)
Windows: Head over to here then download the latest .exe version.
Linux: We usually distribute .appimages, and we do in our releases, however, it's up to you to install it, We want you to use Snap to install StreamBop and thus to do so: snap install streambop
When downloading / setting up, all you need to do is run the software. When running first time, the Software will take some time to load up and download some libaries and stuff, once done, you just need to follow the setup utility. Once done, enter your channel name, and your StreamBop is yours!
To use StreamBop, select ‘Streaming’, then select ‘Customization’, you can then select if you want the “Now Playing” dialogue to always show, or, disapear after 10 seconds of a new song. You can also select your theme. Once done, press exit, then Press ‘Streaming’ again, then select ‘Streaming’, press ‘Setup’. Once complete, you will want to open OBS, select a window capture, make sure it's the capture with the “Setup Mode” labled, once complete, press okay, press filters, press color filter, then select Green as the color, adjust Similarity until you are happy with the results. You can then press okay on OBS, and move the Window Dialogue into the corner, or where you want. Hold shift and drag the corners to shrink the OBS window capture… After that, you can then return to StreamBop, and then, press “Done”. Once complete, press streaming again, then press ‘Start’, you will then have a countdown timer, you need to wait until that timer hits 0 for the Software to load up 100%. Once your done, you can change the volume, and ENJOY the StreamBop experience. :)
